Dutch squadron under adm. Almonde on Baltic Sea, June-August 1700

Philips van Almonde
(1644-1711)

Dutch squadron was sent to Baltic Sea in summer 1700 to force Danish king Fredrich IV to reestablish Altona Peace. It consisted of 19 ships, incl. 13 SoLs, 3 frigates, 2 fire-ships & Salamander (unknown-type). Squadron participated in the bombardment of Copenhagen in July of 1700 & covering of the Swedish landing forces at Humbeleck.
